To support the peak dates of the horticultural season, Cool Carriers positions one of its first NewBuildings, the Baltic Spirit. Built in the shipyards of Japan, this refrigerated vessel represents a significant milestone not only for the company but also for the industry as a whole. With a capacity of 5,700 pallets plus 268 refrigerated containers, it becomes the heaviest tonnage ship for a direct exclusive service without transshipment to the East Coast of the United States in history.
This vessel marked the beginning of a large-scale project for the company. As part of the first stage, out of a total of 10 refrigerated vessels averaging 12,000 pallets, it will significantly strengthen the company’s presence in the international and dedicated market. The second stage of the project involves the construction of an additional 15 refrigerated vessels, a project that is in full swing. This ambitious plan will not only increase the company’s transport capacity but also set new standards of excellence in the refrigerated transport industry.

Up to Marketing Order (MO), Cool Carriers has shipped 130,000 pallets to the East Coast and 94,000 pallets to the West Coast of the United States. 4 departures are projected for MO, 3 for the Gloucester coast and 1 for the Los Angeles coast. Cool Carriers is the primary choice for refrigerated fruit transportation to both coasts of the United States.
In an increasingly interconnected world, Cool Carriers Chile stands out as a beacon of innovation and excellence in maritime transport. With the arrival of its new vessel and ambitious plans for the future, the company is ready to sail to new horizons.
